WELCOME
Hi I am Mowan and I share this website with my father Michael Bonnick. Together we run Mowan's Makerspace. Hi I am the proud father of Mowan, the 13 year old behind this novel Online Makerspace. They say the apple never falls far from the tree and my son shares so many of my interests in S.T.E.A.M. Mowan is an avid inventor and maker always tinkering and looking for cool ways to bring his ideas to reality. |
Rest assured I will be co-delivering and managing his online workshops and summer camps whilst allowing Mowan to actively share his tried and tested projects with his peers. My background as a qualified Industrial Designer, International IB Art & Design Educator, Design Thinker and Visual Artist puts me a great position to support your child at Mowan's future online learning activities.
Innovation does not always require large sums of money to get started and this workshop seeks to inspire the next generation of INNOVATORS, DESIGNERS and MAKERS. Children will be encouraged to use inexpensive materials to make various projects whilst using Design Thinking/Process.
Mowan's Makerspace workshops and summer camps are designed for children ages 5 - 9. Spaces are usually limited to 10 - 15 children to allow us to deliver an intimate, engaging and design focused online makerspace learning activities. Various teaching, learning resources and strategies will be employed to ensure no child will be left unsupported. We look forward to seeing your child at future Mowan's Makerspace online learning activities!
